01 Why both naturally-occurring AND added BCAAs?

Whey protein already contains substantial BCAAs naturally (5,762mg per scoop). We fortify with additional leucine, isoleucine, and valine to push past the leucine threshold (~2.5–3g) required to maximally trigger muscle protein synthesis. More BCAAs = more anabolic signal.

02 Is this concentrate or isolate?

Both. We blend whey protein concentrate (sustained release, more bioactive peptides) with whey protein isolate (fastest absorption, lowest lactose). This gives you the best of both forms in a single scoop.

03 How does this compare to other protein powders?

Most protein powders contain 60–70% protein by weight, with the rest being fillers like maltodextrin and fructose. Ours is 75% protein per scoop — that means more protein and fewer empty calories in every serving.

04 Why sucralose instead of stevia?

Sucralose delivers a cleaner, more dessert-like flavor profile that pairs perfectly with the cinnamon swirl taste. While stevia works well in milder flavors, sucralose helps achieve the authentic cinnamon-roll experience without adding sugar or calories. 05 Will this cause bloating or digestive issues?

Unlikely. We've added a protease and papain enzyme blend specifically to break down whey proteins and reduce the bloating that some people experience with standard whey powders. If you're severely lactose intolerant, our isolate-heavy blend has minimal lactose, but talk to your doctor.

06 How much protein should I take per day?

Research supports 0.7–1g of protein per pound of body weight for active individuals. A 180lb person should aim for 130–180g of total daily protein from all sources. One scoop of MD Whey provides 25g — a single building block in your daily intake.
