Ingredients

  • 4 scoops Dummy Supps Vanilla whey
  • 2 apples
  • 1 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp softened butter
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 2 tbsp zero calorie granulated sugar
  • 4 tsp apple pie spice
  • Glaze: 1/4 cup zero calorie confectioners sugar
  • Glaze: 2 tsp apple pie spice
  • Glaze: 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • Glaze: 2 tsp unsweetened almond milk

Steps

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F
  2. Dice apples into small bite-sized pieces.
  3. To a baking sheet, add apples, 2 tsp apple pie spice, and bake for 10 minutes to soften.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, combine applesauce, egg, vanilla extract, butter, and almond milk. Mix well.
  5. Add flour, Vanilla whey, sugar, 2 tsp apple pie spice, baking powder, and mix until well combined.
  6. If necessary: add 2 tsp almond milk to thin out batter.
  7. Spoon batter into a donut tin and bake for 10–12 minutes.
  8. Glaze: whisk together sugar, apple pie spice, almond milk, and vanilla extract.
  9. Remove donuts from pan and drizzle with glaze.
